A former Venezuelan beauty pageant winner, competitive synchronized swimmer and model, Tati combines the poise, attention to detail and dedication she garnered as an athlete and model and brings them all together to her life-long passion - cooking!
An honors graduate of the prestigious, Le Cordon Bleu, Chef Tati wasted no time in creating her own company, Forkplate Productions, offering catering, event planning and culinary classes. She saw an opportunity to combine her joy for cooking with healthy AND delicious recipes for Latinx audiences who could still enjoy an array of traditional recipes and reap the health benefits.
As a result, Tati has created a loyal and eager fan base across all mediums. She engages daily with her followers via her Chef Tati Polo Instagram account where she posts recipes, tutorials and behind the scenes looks at her food prep, daily life and to her current Univision Show, SALADLAND with Tati Polo. There is never a lack of questions from her followers and viewers from how many ounces of her daily pressed celery juice is too much to offering ideas around how to introduce kids to salads - all which she shares with her curious audience.
Nominated for an Emmy for her Univision segment, “Un Taco de Ojo con Tati Polo” and for a Tecla Award for “Best Food Content Creator 2020,” Tati Polo attributes much of her success to reinvention. “We need to reevaluate our lives constantly," she says. "It is a personal task that requires working on ourselves. It is very easy to go in the opposite direction of our dreams.” As she can attest, from couture to cocina, life, not unlike cooking, is all about the ingredients.
